   What is the GOAL?

   The final goal is to create a lot of websites by the users. So websites are not built offline by a few anymore and then go online, but they are built by the whole community and everybody can take part and support it with their knowledge.
   Today the web users are consumers, that can only show their wishes by using or not using certain websites. In Web3.0 the users can directly influence what goes online. And they decide about that in a direct, democratic way.
   Consumers turn into Citizens!
   New Economy becomes New Community!
   To get this going we need a kind of meta website first, that allows creating other websites online. And as I don‘t know yet, how to do it (and haven‘t seen any page that would allow this in the intended way), I need all your help!

   Why do you want so MANY people visit this page? Don‘t you only want those with technological know how?

   Everybody is needed here! I guess that about 10 % will have ideas and about 1 % are willing and able to realize them. But 100 % are here to vote for ideas (This is a democracy!) and spread the idea. Furthermore really everybody has knowledge that can be helpful - share it with us! Besides website development advice on marketing and legal aspects is highly welcome right now.

   Can you explain letscreateastorm 4 DUMMIES? (Thanks to AK for the question!)

   The idea is all but complicated! Maybe it is even so simple, that it seems difficult! It is all about a website, that has no concept in the first place. Everything, concept, content, appearance, tools is going to be user generated. And everybody can be a part of it. As long as you can see this page and write an email to your friends, you are part of the storm! So this is actually the perfect site for, but not limited to, dummies.

   I don‘t know what WEB3.0 is. Can you explain it?

   Well, I don‘t know either! There are several concepts around, but none has come into relevant existence yet. So time and the people on the web will decide what eventually will be called Web3.0. What I say is, this could be it. It is up to all of us, to make it happen!

   How did you come up with this IDEA?

   Well, over the last years I had several ideas for websites, but eventually none of them went online due to a lack of know how, time, commitment, the right people or just laziness. Then I realized, there must be millions of people with the same problems. Some have ideas, others have the know how, but they never get together.
   So I wanted to create a website, that brings them together. And ran into the same obstacles as always before.
   So I realized, I have to involve the benefits of the internet as early in the process as possible!
   What seemed useful in the first place then evolved into a principle according to the butterfly-effect: The initial impulse had to be minimal. So I threw away the, frankly speaking, little know how about websites I had, and created the simplest I could.

   Dave, I am stunned! Your article really got the point! Besides the fact that this is really serious. But I like the notion of taking it as a satire.

    Are you aware of NING.com? Isn‘t it the same?

    Yes I am. And it is not! Actually I learned to know about it after letscreateastorm.org went online (article in „Der Standard“, 24-02-2009) and consider it a good idea. It somewhat goes into the same direction but letscreateastorm goes much much farther!
    Ning is limited to social networks, letscreateastorm will finally allow you to build whatever website you like. But letscreateastorm should eventually be as easy to use as ning.
    There is another very important difference: ning was created and is run by a company, letscreateastorm is a solely user generated and democratic project from the beginning!
    So I suggest you look at it to get some inspiration and then come back here!

    Well, kind of the same answer: A good tool for people, that want to create their private, kind of simple website.
    Letscreateastorm.org is here for complex, not from the shelf websites with newly created features.
    Where cms4people limits user to what they offer, we offer users breaking all limits.
    And we will include tools for group building, project management, idea rating, personal profiles etc.

    No, it is not. So first, it is not a challenge for you, so why should you do it? And second, please contribute your knowledge in a helpful way instead of destroying this great project!

    Although this project is intended to have basically no costs, you never know what might come up. So I want to build up some capital, so that the project does not die out because of some stupid reason like money!
