The Concept
Do you know the butterfly-effect?
It basically says, the flapping of a single butterfly‘s wings can create or alter a storm through the high interconnectivity of the weather system.
The same belongs to the internet!
So this initial website is the flapping and it is up to all of us, to create the storm! A storm that could revolutionize the entire web!
This can be WEB3.0!
In Web1.0 the platform (i.e. the website) and the content were created by the host.
In Web2.0 the platform was created by the host and the content was user-generated.
In Web3.0 the platform and the content are entirely user-generated!
This is an unprecedented experiment:
A website that is completely designed on the internet by its users.
It is a prototype for thousands if not millions of other sites.
In the future complex websites will not be built by companies anymore, but by the community of users.
The prototype letscreateastorm.org is here to figure out how we can do this…
…and in the long run to be the mother of all the sites emerging!
Development of this website:
- Short term: We need a platform to communicate on the further development. DONE!!!
- Mid term: We need a platform that allows rating of ideas and loading up of contributions, social network features (profiles, friends, etc.), further the inventing of a localized server-structure (cloud computing) and a tool that allows us to build websites online together.
- Long term: Out of letscreateastorm.org a large number of websites on various topics emerges…
The Vision
(Remember: Everything described here does not exist yet. It is up to all of us to create it!)
Letscreateastorm.org becomes a website, where all the people meet who are necessary to create complex websites to whatever topics. They get together and work online on their projects.
Every user has their own profile that lists their contributions: Ideas, websites built and/or maintained, marketing efforts, legal stuff, etc., everything rated by the other users.
Every contribution yields a certain amount of points (microshares), that turn the user into a shareholder of the holding stooorm.com that owns the websites. Profits are shared among the users according to their amount of microshares.
Stooorm.com is a risk sharing tool: It owns thousands of websites and if only 1 or 2 of them become big hits, there will be enough for everybody. (Remember that Facebook was sold for 1.5 billion usd!)
It also delivers great synergies between the websites, especially in terms of marketing.
Alternatively letscreateastorm.org can be used to find people for your own venture without being part of stooorm.com.
No servers are needed. We use cloud computing to host all the websites on personal computers worldwide.
Letscreateastorm.org is a highly dynamic network that creates and picks up new developments much faster than regular companies can. So we outperform them even though we don’t hide any work in progress from the public.
